Kids at Grandma

So a lot have been done lately.

I will now update on the progress of my paid project (not the employer or destination), that I just call "Kids at Grandma" as a project title for now.

I was recently at NTNU in Trondheim and held my first PPT presentation in my life! The audience consisted of other team members working in other areas of the employer project, and they were 8 or 9 individuals (not much, I know) but DAMN how I suffer with stage fright! I sumbled with my english, had problems breathing in between words, and I think I rushed it quite a bit. But it was the best oppurtunity to practice :)  Now I plan to record myself on video to practice talking, that would do good for later presentations.

This is the prototyping screenshot so far:

I am making a childrens game without blood that I believe will have some nice graphics and playable value. The game mechanics are good 'ol melee "monster fighting" hack 'n slash, but still even fun to test so far.

This is made in Unity, using only Playmaker, and the following features are currently implemented:

All player1 animations
All monter 1 animations
Basic terrain world
Choose between 2 player characters
Move character around
Hit with 2 different random animations
Sword has trail effect (not finished)
Character takes damage
Enemy takes damage
Enemy will attack within given radius
Enemy can be stunned
Enemy will return "home" when too far away
Enemy has splatter effects (not finished)
Enemy dies on 0 health

Inside of this there are also minor features to improve the intelligence of the AI monster, and other features that reveal original mechanics that I will not mention at the moment.
